Print spooling is a service that allows users to continue another task on their computers while their print jobs are being printed or waiting to be printed.
Print spooling is a must in environments where users print often and their print jobs are long.
The user sends the print job to the server which stores it, then sends it to the selected printer when that printer becomes available.
